Farm software that
fits how you farm

Most farm software makes your place fit its shape. Alffi is built the other way round — and you can just ask it things, in your own words.

  • Talk to it, standing in the paddock
  • Ask it a question and get a straight answer
  • Keep records on whatever your place actually has
  • Stock, crops, water and machinery in one place, not four
  • Put your whole team on it without the price going up
See how it works
The problem

Every farm is different. Almost no farm software is.

Farm software comes one enterprise at a time. One product for the stock, another for the cropping, a third for the water. Each arrives in a shape somebody else decided on, years ago, without knowing your place. The day you do something they didn’t think of, you’re stuck waiting on them.

But most farm work has the same bones underneath. You plan a job, put someone and a machine on it, do it in a paddock, write down what happened, and prove it later. That much is true whether you’re milking, cropping or running steers. What changes between farms is the detail — and detail is something you can set yourself.

So Alffi builds the bones once, and leaves the detail to you. Keep track of something nobody else bothers with. Record the thing your buyer asks for. Work out the number you actually manage on. No engineer, no upgrade, no support ticket.

Three things that make it different

All three work today. None of them is a promise about next year.

It bends to fit your place

Every farm has something the software didn’t expect — a class of stock you treat differently, a paddock that’s really three, a buyer who wants one more number on the docket. In Alffi you just add it, and it works like everything else from then on.

No engineer, no upgrade, and no waiting for us to think it’s worth building.

Ask it, instead of hunting for it

“How much urea have I got?” “Is that paddock right to graze yet?” “Put Dave on the spreading Tuesday.” Type it, or say it out loud on your phone — Alffi works out the answer from your own records, and shows you anything it wants to change before it changes it.

It remembers what you tell it about your place, so it knows more each time.

The paperwork keeps itself

Withholding periods worked out from what you actually sprayed. Vendor declarations for cattle prepared, signed and sent. Water use and meter readings ready for the authority. Records the buyer or the inspector will accept, built as you go.

Not a filing job you do afterwards — a by-product of doing the work.

Alffi is not another livestock app. It is farm software you shape around your own place — and the big products can’t simply copy that, because in theirs, nothing about your farm was ever yours to decide.

Proof, not promises

It runs a real farm. And it has been pushed a lot harder.

Alffi runs Mullinroo Estate — a working mixed operation in New South Wales — every day. Separately, we have driven it against a herd far larger than any of our own, to find out where it bends.

75,000 head put through it on purpose

60,000 cattle, 12,000 sheep and 3,000 goats across 150 mobs, with two million weights, movements, treatments and costs behind them. Built to break something and see what broke.

99 → 1 duplicate fence posts merged

Where two paddocks shared a boundary, the same post had been recorded twice. Ninety-nine of those pairs became one post each — every one of 577 markers kept, nothing deleted, the single survivor a real half-metre gap.

484/484 NLIS devices reconciled

A full National Livestock Identification System import checked against live data — every active device, every transfer on and off, matched exactly.

1.4kg/day daily gain, worked out live

Herds, the animals in them and every weight each has carried — set up through the dashboard in an afternoon, with a “Finishing Herd” showing head count and gain against the farm’s own target.

What the 75,000-head run actually told us It was run against a test database rather than a live farm, and it did what a stress test is for: it found something. Counting a small mob was costing as much as counting the whole herd, which we fixed — that particular count went from 15 milliseconds to under one. It also turned up a screen that gets slower as the herd grows, and that one we haven’t fixed yet. We would rather tell you both halves.

Modules you install, not features you’re sold

Install what your operation needs from a catalogue in the dashboard. Dependencies resolve themselves — add Irrigation and it brings Equipment and Fuel with it.

Livestock

Mobs, movements, weights, treatments, kill batches, NLIS reconciliation and cattle eNVD consignments. The deepest module by a distance.

Available

Cropping

Chemical and fertiliser catalogues with APVMA lookup — scan a label and Alffi reads the withholding periods off it.

Available

Irrigation

Pumps, irrigators, runs and logs, with scheduling driven by soil profile, crop plan and real evapotranspiration data.

Available

Equipment & Fuel

Machinery, vehicles, implements and attachments, with fuel logging, service history and running costs.

Available

Weather

Your own Ecowitt or Davis station, Bureau of Meteorology evapotranspiration, rainfall, and satellite soil moisture.

Available

Jobs

A work queue that retracts itself. Forty millimetres of rain falls, six paddocks drop below trigger, and six irrigation jobs disappear before anyone opens the app.

Available

Reporting

Build a report against any of your data. PDF, CSV and Excel out, with your own branding on the cover.

You don’t pay by the person, and you don’t pay by the head

Most farm software charges more as your herd grows or your team does. Alffi doesn’t. You pay for the business, plus whichever parts of it you actually use — so putting your farmhand, your contractor and your agronomist on it costs nothing extra.

That isn’t a special offer we could quietly withdraw — the system is built so a per-person price can’t be entered at all. Anything that does vary, like the AI you use, is shown before you use it.

Where we actually are

Pre-launch, and honest about it

Alffi runs a real farm in production today. It is also early — no native app yet, billing not switched on, Australia only for now. We publish that list rather than let you discover it in a demo.

We’re looking for a small number of founding design partners: operations willing to shape the platform while it is still soft enough to be shaped. If that reads like an opportunity rather than a risk, we should talk.
